33cl bottle at Põhja Öökull, Tallinn. Pours hazy, dark amber with a tanned head. Malty, caramelly and hoppy with herbal. Sweet, hoppy and bitter. Fairly balanced and enjoyable.

Wow that's malty. Sweet and strong, hoppy, somewhat bitter. Caramel, pine, resin, still really smooth. Not bad.

Grapefruit and light tangerine. Lots of booze. Pours orange with good head. Bittersweet end. Bottle thanks to owner at Embargo.

400ml on tap at Tsypa Craft Pub in Kyiv. Pours hazy dark brown with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is pine needles, orange, malt. Taste is malty, graprefruit, caramel, fruit, heavy bitter finish.

Brutale Stouts und Porter bringt man auch in der Ukraine gut zusammen. Dies ist ein schön vollmundiges, recht trockenes und recht starkes Bier, das sicher vielen leuten zu hart ist. Aber aromentechnisch ist es sehr fein komponiert und hat einen langen angenehm röstmalzigen Nachhall.

14.05.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from tsypa at bessarabka in kiev. pours a hazy deep amber with a frothy off-white head. aroma of caramel malts, tropical fruity hops, dried fruits. flavour of espresso, spruce, wood, grass. long bitter and astringent finish. one of the most bitter beers I've rated recently.
