Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is mild fruity hops, citrus, malt, somewhat floral, light candied fruits, touch of yeast, very light on the pepper if you know it’s there. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Not really an IIPA, more of a hoppy Tripel, doesn’t deliver on the promised chili pepper. Nice brew.

Tap at L.I.B.Leiden: Slightly hazy golden colored brew with an decently sweet bitter taste, the peppery hints are very faintly but the other hints are grassy maltiness. Gulpener 90%-Uiltje 10% involvement i supposed.

Bottle picked up from Gulpener Brouwerij, Gulpen, Netherlands and consumed at home Wednesday 19th January 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and cooking Cordon Bleu Schnitzel with Rosemary Potatoes, also making an Italian Tomato Sauce and Pork and Beef Polpettes, homemade Coleslaw and Delia's Spicy Red Cabbage recipe (we're super busy). Pours dark gold possibly light orange with a haze, there is a white head atop. Decent DIPA, there is a little spice, fruity, a little yeasty, mid bitterness, light sweetness. Good.

Clear, deep golden color and a white head sweet fruity with a nice peppery catch. I do not like chili beers where the spicyness dominates everything. Like this one:good balance of fruity, hppy and spicy flavos.

Bottle. Clear dark orange/gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and pine. Taste follows aroma plus malts and herbs. Spicy peppers arrive late at the party but stay too long. Not that hot but unfortunately not that balanced either. Medium carbonation. Love peppers and DIPAs but this one doesn’t work at all.

Bottle from Erzengel. I feel like I'm coming down with sinusitis so this should hopefully help unblock them. Citrus. Some resin. A hint of spicee. Opaque amber. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Fruity sweet edge with a resinous edge. The spice adds warmth but is very subtle. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Dry not overly astringent finish. Fruity and spicy.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier met matig schuim. Aroma is hoppig. De smaak is hoppig met een hint van de pepers. In de nasmaak komt de peper weer naar boven. Naar mijn mening hoor de peper niet in bier.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig met iets van grapefruit, een beetje hars en aan het einde in de afdronk een fijne pittige peper. Zeker geslaagd wat mij betreft, smaak blijft lang hangen.
