Bottled. A golden beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma is very hoppy - flowery - English hops. The flavor is very hoppy on a lightly malty back ground, the hops making it very bitter. English hops.

500ml Bottle - Dark gold/amber in colour with a small head. Malty and hoppy aroma with hints of apple, tea and bubblegum. Fairly bitter and hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, tea and peach, followed by a grainy, malty and hoppy finish. A good effort and rather drinkable.

Draught@Gastropub Nordic, Tampere. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grassy, dry and quite brutal harsh hoppyness. Flavour is big grassyness with some mild maltyness carrying it up. I like them hops, but not this way. Compared to the bottle below, this draught one was probably very spoilt. 4 2 4 2 7

Bottled (BB 12/2009). Golden color, decent white head. Citrusy hoppy nose with toffeish and buttery sweet notes. Weaker nose than flavor indicates. Citrus-fruity flavor with decent malty backbone. Finish and long aftertaste is very bitter with grassy-hayish flavors and weak butterness. I would like to have this bottle conditioned, but even now this is quite ok. The first easy access well-hopped ale in Finnish supermarkets.

Golden beer with medium white and thich head. Aroma is malty, some toffee and aromatic fruits. Flavour is very hoppy, typically malty, and there are long, bitter and dry finish. Nice balanced palate. Like the beer’s name said (english: "hoppy") there are lot of hops and bitter taste is quite nice and balanced.
