On tap at local music festival. Has a slightly hazy mahogny colour with a small and light beige head. Aroma of dried fruit, cocoa and wood. More dried fruit in the flavour which is closest to plums, and wood. Slick mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. A decent and balanced dunkel, maybe a little light.

0,33 flaske i gapahuken til Lillegutt: nå begynner det å likne noe, etter Haakon var dette ytterligere et steg fremover, mer malt-og ettersmak. Lav score på utseende og smak da det i likkhet med Arctic og Haakon blir flatt på no time. Av ren lokalpatriotisme skulle jeg gjerne ratet det høyere, men desverre.

Stopped regular rating 22nd Oct 2012 so this is one of my occasional ratings. On tap/keg at Skaven, Tromso, Friday 18th January 2013 Pours brown with a very slight haze, quite sweet, malty but its moreish and there is a light nuttiness and subtle bitterness.I have had better Dunkels but this is absolutely fine. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.1

Can in Tromso. Clear deep amber beer, short head - very pale tan. Light crispy palate. Creamy malt with a trace of molasses underneath. Minerally fresh with a whsiper of dried fruits hop coming through in the semi dry finish. It’s on okay beer.

På boks fra Ultra Bryn Oslo. Klar brun farge med en of white skumtopp. Mild maltsødme i lukten. Mild fin og rund karamel smak. En veldig behagelig øl. Havner definitivt i kurven igjen.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - courtesy of Rune) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was mediums sized, fizzy, white and it disappeared quickly. Aroma had caramell, malts and mildly metallicness. Palate was a bit fuller than light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramell, malts, bitterness and mildly metallicness and sweetness. Aftertaste was malty. Technically flawless but too easy.

Bottle 330ml.[ Courtesy of Rune ]. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, artificial sugar and sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090805]
