This strong, blonde abbey beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle, tastes of citrus, pineapple, peach, nectarine and herbs. Malt and hops, which are both nicely balanced, for your taste buds. The attack has a hint of sweetness to it, and the finish packs a punch bordering on spicy.

Pours gold with a large head.Nose shows spicy hops, pear and soft cooked vegetables, slight banana.Flavours include sweet pear and baked apple, spicy clove notes, soft booze.

Klare, goldene Farbe mit feinporiger, kurzlebiger Schaumkrone. Im Geruch Malz, etwas Karamell, frischer Hopfen, Würze. Geschmacklich ausgewogen malzig hopfig mit prägnanter Würze und leichterm Fruchtaroma. Gut.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Huge rocky white head. Fruity assertive malt nose hints at peach and orange. Sweet fruity flavor has a hint of vinous maltiness. Finish is dry and spicy.
