Red can of Aussie piss delivered to Colorado by fletch. Thanks! This is terrible. Candied and caramel apple. Butterscotch, cardboard, a little too sweet and no hops to speak of. Fuck you.

Pours out clear golden with high fluffy head. Musty cardboard aroma, tastes like white school paste. At least a hint of bitterness at the finish, but a tough drink to get down.

750ml bottle into glass. Has that chemical vegetable smell most CUB beers have. Reminds me a little of chlorine. Yellow/amber with thin white head. Highly carbonated. Taste is sweet then WHAM! full on tinny vegetable aftertaste. I’ve always wondered what the difference between this and VB was, now I know. This is slightly less gag-inducing.

This beer pours a clear copper color with a thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Light-bodied with a slightly metallic character and flavors of overripe fruit and caramel. The finish is stale malt and fruit. Not good.

375ml bottle, BB 21Jan10 2109 1 Rating from 2010:
Hellgelb im Glas. Im Aroma zwischen einem Bitter und einem Lager. Durch die 4% etwas wässrig. Leicht getreidig-süßlich, im Ende etwas herber, dabei auch leicht hopfenaromatisch. Nett.

375ml bottle. Clear amber colour, foam white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, grain, abit metallic. Taste is malt, grain, corn, sweetish & slightly fruity with earthy, cardboard notes and a lingering light bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry bitter finish. Standard bland pale lager.

From a 375ml bottle on 23/10/2010. It’s not uncommon to hear people arguing about whether this is better than VB. Which is kinda funny because they’re both equally shite. Has a very slight stale smell. In the mouth, it’s all metallic chemicals, a bit of sweetness, followed by a short, sharp though not altogether pleasant bitterness at the end. Yet another shocker from CUB.
