Can. Black, light tan head. Heavily roasted aroma with that burnt/ sour thing at the bottom. Some blackberry. Light bodied. Dry with berries, coffee, roast. Not as refreshing as extra stout, not as involving as normal FXS.

Black color with medium beige head. Aroma: sweet, coffee, milk chocolate. Taste: sweet, ashy, roasted malt, light mokiness and tary. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Interesting, not your typical Guinness but I like it.

Shared at BBT 11/2023. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark malt, light chocolate. Taste is sweet, ash, caramel, chocolate.

Can 33 cl. Dark brown, coffee foam. Aroma: sweetish, caramel, jam, a little chocolate and instant coffee. Taste: sweetish with sourness, caramel, roasted malt, a little wine.

330ml can from Toko Dago, Bandung. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt and liqourice. The flavour is moderate to light liqourice bitter, with a light, slightly watery, earthy, mineral, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. Perhaps the worst Guinness Foreign Extra Stout I’ve had.

A deep dark stout with thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with with chocolate, light powdery character, OK. In mouth, bitter chocolate with light buttery notes, OK. Can 5 years old, from Bali.

320ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is oily roast, tar and liquorice. Taste is burnt and oily, with sour roast malt and liquorice.

620ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a big creamy head which dissolves into big bubbles. Roasty aroma, but not intense. Slight bread taste, but not near as much as the original Guinness. Roasty bitterness. After 3 weeks of Bintang and Bali Hai, this is a relevation.
