Das Premium Dry wirkt weniger vollmundig als das normale Lager, aber es kommt mir besser komponiert vor was die Aromen betrifft. DIese könnten ruhig etwas ausgeprägter sein.

Originally rated August 2005. The first time I tried this one was like 10-13 years ago when I went to Edmonston, New Brunswick. All there was to do at night was to go to the bar, and pretty much all they had was Moosehead products. So I tried them all. And I remember liking this one the best. That was then, when I really did not drink much. Thanks to Buddybeer for this one, brought back from N.B. Pours a pale golden colour with a tiny head and no retention. No lacing too. Carbonation is composed of medium bubbles and is released from the bottom of the glass inconsistently. The nose is torn between sweet malt and grain malt. The mouthfeel is dry and refreshing. The taste is mostly grainy malt with a dry finish and a long grain aftertaste. Sweetness comes out as the beer warms up. Lets just say, if I could buy this beer here, I would buy it a lot for a summer cool-off brew.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of grain and malt, leading to a lightly bitter finish. The body is thin. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle 34,1 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear yellow with a white head. Strange chicory aroma. Medium body, lots of brewing cereal and some sulphur. No real bitternes. Very much a bland Pale Lager. 211009
