330 ml bottle, vintage 2007, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy brownish orange colour, big and lasting off-white head with a pale orange hue. Fairly strong sweetish aroma with notes of candied fruits (figs, actually), caramel and malts, hints of cinnamon. The flavour has notes of cinnamon and other mild spices, figs, caramel and malts, great sweetness nicely balanced by decent hops in the finish. Some alcoholic warmth, but not dominant. Some wood in the aftertaste. An interesting beer, pleasant to drink.

Bottle, 63.3cl. 7% ABV. It pours an unclear, dark golden body under a nice off-white head. Some cinnamon in the initial aroma, followed by a malty sweetness, some hops and a spiced touch. The flavor is a nice blend of cinnamon and malty sweetness, with a fine bitterness from the hops. Medium to full body with pleasant carbonation. Spiced, malty sweet finish. A rather unusual beer, but sure nice. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. 090821

Bottle, 36cl, at Patricks. 2007 vintage. It’s a hazy, golden-orange beer with an off-white head. Slightly oxidized nose, with malts, notes of cinnamon and an earthy touch. Sweet, malty flavor with some cinnamon, quite low on bitterness. Full body. An easy drinkable beer that seems to best served fresh. 100213

Bottle, 7%. Mild spicy aroma. Hazy red amber colour. Small tan head. The flavour has some cinnamon in the finish, not too powerful, but can be tasted. Slightly sweet, perhaps from the figs. Ok balanced for an unbalanced beer style.
