Thanks to Eva for bringing a 330ml slim bottle back from Rethymno, Crete. Clear, amber-brown body. Fragile, beige lacing-head. Earthy, sweet malts to the nose. Semi-sweet flavour of malts and almond including a spicy touch. Lightly roasted. Restrained bitter finish. Soft carbonated. Drinkable, but gives a somewhat unfinished impression (Tromsø, 06.06.2010).

Grabbed a bottle at Lefteris Gyro in Tarrytwon NY. This place is terrific however this beer isn’t. Pours an amber color however tastes just run of the mill. a little caramel and super easy to drink but very bland. The gyro was fantastic though

A sorta darker pale brown. Not really vibrant red. Aroma of sweet clean slag. Bready somewhat thick lager feel. Flavor like many brews from lion. Somewhat refreshing and easy to deal with. Kinda sweet and candyulike at times. It does have a little of that vienna personality on the finishes when it almost bitters up.

From my brother’s honeymoon in Greece
Amber color. Candi sugar aroma, strong, cheap. Lean body, very small caramel flavor, quite poor, like a common Lager, but less dry and bitter. Bad.
