Tasting glass @ brewery. Orange golden, small white head. Nose is dull oily plastic, vegetable oil caramel sweet corn. Oily basic but too plastic, oily caramel, vegetable oil, not a big success.

Pours rather clear blonde. Medium small, seemingly stable white head. Smell is fukl, grainy, tad sweet. T is sharp,malty, tad soapy, rather sweet.

Tap. Clear golden. Perfume, soap, flowers. Light, lightly crisp carbonation, kills most of the body, pilsner malts. Good.

Draft @ Ermitage Taproom, post-Quintessence 2018. Dorée sur léger col blanc. Arôme offre un nez plaisant bien fleuri avec un léger côté grains concassés et malt pils. Retrouve un houblon noble généreux avec le côté relevé d'agrumes du Motueka. Palais est sur une effervescence moyenne voire haute, bien citronné sur prolongement d'agrumes - presque de fraicheur citron vert (Motueka je suppose) le tout gardant un aspect très frais des houblons, sur le fin je reprends un effet grains poudreux. Le tout est léger, facile d'approche et bat de longueur les pils belges de masse.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, earthy, leafy, pretty fresh and fruity. Taste is grainy, juicy hops, medium bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel, good.

Tap at the brewpub. Almost clear pale straw with white head. Dry malts, soft honey, grain husks, light flowery, light fruity hops, oats, sweet lemon candy. Medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium bodied. Not a typical pils but not bad at all.
