50cl swing-top bottle. Pours clear dark orange brown colour with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of mild rosted malt, caramel and nuts. Taste of mild rosted malt, bitter hops, caramel, red fruits, nice!

* Old rating. 0,5l bottle, best before 22.09.04, bottle bought directly at the brewpub. Würziges dunkles Bier. Nicht zu viel Röstmalz, moderat herb, nicht zu süß. Lecker!

bottle (abv 5.4%), many thanks to kappldav123! Almost clear, perhaps slightly hazy chestnut colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty with hints of caramel and a fruity touch, grassy-resiny hops.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, fine spicy-malty, modest grasy. Finish with some sourish notes, a bit moldy without being too much. Well balanced finish. Nice!

Dark amber-brown color; creamy head. Aroma of caramel and cream. There is a bit too much carbonation to appreciate a malty beer; dry caramel flavor, with light butter traces (diacetyl); ordinary bitterness with a nutty touch in the end. Mediocre.

Etwas herber Antrunk, dazu frisch dunkelmalzig, die Frische macht hier eine leichte Heunote aus. Weiter frisch malz, die vorhandene Röstnote im Malz fällt dabei fast unter den Tisch. Zum Ende hin würziger, die Frische setzt sich, das Bier wird schwerer. Stimmig, urg würziger Abgang mit vergleichsweise starkem Hopfen in aromatischer Form. Gut! 8/8/9/10/9/9

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, roasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091113]

Clear amber with a tiny white short lasting head. Sweet toasted malt aroma with caramel notes. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel and grassy hops. Bitter and dry finish.
