This premium ale reflects the colour and intensity of Autumn. Its deep reddish hue derives from the addition of crystal malt in the grist. The flavour is predominantly malty with a subtle late hop character.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of butter. The flavor is very dry with strong notes of butter, leading to a very dry finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Clear amber with a firm off-white head. Aroma of a little nuts, caramel and a whiff of butter. Medium body, roasted malts, nuts and caramel with a rather hoppy finish. 221109

[Cask handpull at Back of Beyond, Reading] 4.7% on cask. Reddish brown with a moderate white head. Tastes of Blackcurrant, wood and earth. Like most Rebellion beers I’ve tried it’s a decent pint that slips down easily, but never threatens to become memorable in any way.

Bottle Waitrose, Thame, Oxon, consumed 29-05-08 Pours reddy/brown with off white head, in fact it looks very decent. Theres a good fruity aroma malts in there as well I note. Taste is guess what? Fruity, malty some bitterness, lacking a certain something, like an identity of its own maybe, because I seem to have had this beer many times before brewed by different breweries? Once again another ok Rebellion beer.

Clear ruby read color, small off-white head. Nutty toffeish and oaky aroma. Slightly nutty hoppy with woody toffeish flavors. Reminds me about some Fullers. Nutty hoppy aftertaste, hops live in the mouth quite long. Nicely balanced session beer.

500ml bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell. A bright chestnut colour with a rapidly disappearing beige head; little aroma; but a warm full-bodied nutty flavour; with a fruity aftertaste. Very nice indeed.

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Deep chestnut colour, with disapearing thin beige head Some malts, some choc, some dark fruits. Fullish in mouth, some dark sour cherry. Finish has more fruit and tingly hop. Tad vinuous too.
