02/10/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from a trade with jerre. Clear blonde, big white rocky head. Nose is malts, banana, bit honey, spice. Taste is dry spice, malts, banana, hops. Light bitter, not bad but nothing special

Had this a couple of years ago when it was still an alias of Moinette Biologique but the (very old school and otherwise AB InBev-dominated) drinks shop that commissions this, claims the recipe has been changed meanwhile, hence its separate entry here. Bottle from Oelegemse Drankendiscount, the commissioner, itself. Thick and frothy, quite large-bubbled, snow white head, slowly dissolving in the middle over a misty golden blonde beer with warmer peachy tinge - looks exactly the same as Moinette Biologique in any case. Aroma of ripe banana, apple peel, sweetbread, meringue, camomile flowers, green melon, pineapple, clove-like phenols, dry white bread, honey, hint of damp earth and some very vague DMS (stewed white cabbage) in the background but so subtle and volatile that for once it does not really disturb me. Estery, sweetish onset, banana isoamylacetate but not overdone, hints of pineapple and ripe pear, light sourish edge, medium carbonated. Fluffy, round, quite full mouthfeel, pleasantly bready with some lingering honeyish sweetness thinly on top; mild phenolic spiciness in the end, earthy breadiness (yeast), ongoing malt and fruit sweetishness and herbal, floral hop bitterishness. A vague hint at warming alcohol ensues but remains where it ought to be. Accessible, seemingly less complex than the average Dupont saison but - as I suspected - not very different from the regular Moinette Biologique, if anything it comes across as a bit sweeter and less hop bitter, but only a meticulous side by side tasting will be able to convince me that this is indeed a different recipe from Moinette Biologique...

Pours unclear blonde, medium white head. Smell is very intense, natural grainy, complex grainbill, funky, very hay-like. Taste is sharp, bit bitter, very aromatic grainbill. Mildly phenolic and esthers. Very balanced. Medium bitterness. Easy drinkin. Medium body and carbo. A simple belgian ale, but very well executed.

Imported from my RateBeer account as Oelegems Titsenbier (2017 - ...) (by Brasserie Dupont):
Aroma: 8/10, Appearance: 4/5, Taste: 7/10, Palate: 3/5, Overall: 14/20, MyTotalScore: 3.6/5
14/X/17 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) (I think) @ home - BB: n/a (How is this legal? Nothing on the cap or the label or the bottle neck...) (2017-1777)
Mainly clear light blond beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, malty, grains, fruity, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts, caramel, bit fruity, bit of citrus. Aftertaste: sweet malts, some yeast, grains, soft bitterness, some caramel. Another decent Dupont, yet not super.
