Nice appearance with its shiny clear, copper coloured body. While the aroma has got a fresh smell of floral hops, the flavour profile is more in the direction of leafy hops. Dry bitter finish. An average version of the style with a strong session potentiality. Sample, gravity cask (GBBF, 07.08.2009).

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Hazy copper with a dense cream head; malty aroma; the texture is full of smooth chewy malts, somewhat nutty; leading to a dry finish with a trace of leafy hops. No sign of "fragrant hops" or "citrus fruits".
