Cask at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Golden blonde with a good sized white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, lemon tinged straw, grains. Taste comprises soft malts, tangerine, lemon rind, toasted grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying . Ok golde.

Rocky white head left a froth on a clear copper coloured body. Malt, biscuit & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, lively with a cloying back. Malt, caramel, grain, toffee & honey tastes with a tangy lightly hopped finish. Decent enough.

Bottle at the Bowland Brewery Cafe. Appearance - golden with an edge of amber. Clear with a white head. Nose - lemon, biscuit and light fudge note. Taste - fudge more prominent but still mainly biscuit and citrus. Palate - light bodied with decent bitteeness. Overall - a solid citizen.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, grass, straw, hops and has a light bitter malty finish.

Bottle from Spar store, just outside Lancaster. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 090220

500ml bottle: BBE May 2018. Obtained from Buon Vino, just outside Settle. Drank at home, lunchtime on 3rd Aug 2017. Poured into an Abbot Ale badged glass pint tankard. Clear amber body, good foaming blanket of white bubbles on top. Decent blend, fairly bitter overall but has a good semi-sweet malty base for the hops to play with. A little over chilled, even if the bottle label recommends 10 C, couldn’t find any aroma at such a low temp. Light malty notes appeared in the nose as it warmed a bit in the tankard.

Cask at the 2016 Cloudspotting festival. Pours clear golden amber with a thick white head. Aromas of brown bread, malt, light lemon. Taste is light sweet, bready. Faint balancing bitterness. Thin finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
