Cask at the Blackfriars, Inverness, 19/10/13. Clear golden with a moderately sized off white head that retains well. Nose is bready malts, light fruit, orange. Taste comprises bitter orange, fruity notes, bread dough, light malts. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finale with light grassy bitter tones. So so bitter.

(on tap - but really thought the pump was Black Raven) Slightly hazy golden with good white head. Odd, but not unpleasant aroma - mainly malt but with hints of butter and nougat. Medium body, medium carbonation. Refreshing fruity candy start, moving through biscuity malt to a nice bitter finish. Overall a nice beer.

Gold amber, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - pale malts, light farmyard, hay, hint of manure
Taste - cereal malts, hay, odd flavour, plasticy, poor
Palate - soft carb, thin body. Finish - very dry, astringent, bit spicy hop, very metallic linger
Overall - rough tasting golden ale - very poor, couldn’t even finish a half pint

Half pint, fresh and well-kept hand-pulled cask ale at Bon Accord. Hazy, golden body, small white head blanketing the glassware. Leafy hops to the nose. Blended taste of lightly spiced hops and bready malts. Bitter endnotes. Foamy in the mouth. Well bodied compared with the low abv. (Glasgow, 11.04.2012).

Cask at Wandsworth Beer Festival, March 2012. It pours golden, with a thick white head. the nose is citrus, grass, floral, spice and subtle fruit - white grape, kiwi and lime. The taste is floral, grass, wood, leather, spice, grapefruit, lime pith and white grape, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Light, crisp and pretty alright.

Cask, Blackfriars, Inverness. Pallid amber looks with a smallish off-white head. Fragrant if somehwhat restrained nose with sweet malt and hop notes. Similar flavour with vague citrus notes. Bitterness somehow not very satisfying. Ok but dull.
