Cask at the hanging bat. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of marzipan and dried fruit, light booze heat. Taste is more dried mixed peel, booze, marzipan. Sweet finish, oily texture.

Cask stillage at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is zesty citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big fruity zesty citrus, light creamy hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 25th Sep 2014. Pale golden body with a white crown. Fairly sweet yet citrusy feel to both the aroma and taste. Lemon and pineapple flavours combine and contradict each other while the alcohol hides in the background.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden-yellow with a thin head. Has a heavy smooth texture and a high sweet fruit aroma with tropical fruits dominant for its taste.

Cask @ OlutExpo 2013
Pours yellow with a small head. Aroma of citrusy fruity notes, malts and spices. Taste is smooth, malty and fruity with notes of spices and citrus. Finish is smooth and sticky with some spices. A bit unbalanced.

Cask @ Olutexpo 2013 Aroma has caramel, sweet fruity notes and hints of biscuits. Flavour is harsh in a bitter way. It has some fruit candy, gooseberry bush notes, bitter herbs and hints of caramel. Odd.

Cask at St Albans Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear light golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity hop aroma with pears, peach and maple syrup. Malty flavours at the fore with caramel and mango followed grassy hops. Palate is lingering tropical fruit, sponge cake and hop resin.

Cask @ St Albans Beer Festival, 2013. Bright deep golden yellow. Classic IPA aroma, with fruity bitter hop invading the nose. Sweeter than I expected but none the worse for it. Sneaky little bitter finish. Buttery creamy mouthfeel. Brilliant beer but it drinks like a session bitter!
