Pale beer with plenty of malted wheat for a balanced mouth feel. Well hopped with Cascade hops for both bittering and aroma. Rainbows End was the name of the café at the terminus of Ashover light railway which is to be returned to its original site in 2008.

Growler from Benny’s Cask Ale Pub. Thanks rayaron and zvsn for the growler! Clear golden, flat. Aroma of graininess, minerals, "green" and slightly fruity hops and a light buttery hint. Flavor has sweetish graininess, a bit of bread, minerals, and bitter "green" hops, a bit citric. Light-bodied. Pretty easy-drinking.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and citrusy. Peachy and citrusy, light herbal hoppy. Bitter and dry finish.

On tap at Gbbf 2013. Bit sweet ok sweetish peach slightly hoppy beer. Bit of stone not great. Condition was excellent.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a pale yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma with hitns of citrus. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sewage, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and acrid bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090805]

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Golden yellow colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grass and pineapple. Fruity taste with grass, citrus, tropical fruit and a decent, citrussy bitternes in the finish. Rather light body with some sweetenss. Fresh citrussy hop character. Nice and refreshing.

Cask at GBBF on 8th August 2009. Gold with lasting white head. Fruit aroma then boldly hoppy. Delicate fruit notes also seek the limelight in the imbiber’s mouth. Dry crisp finish; pleasant, with a smooth texture.

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, mild yeastylike notes, fruits and some hints of vanilla. Flavour is sweet floral hops along with earth and mild wood. Quite boring bitter.
