Cask at GBBF. Clear amber beer, light and slightly dry palate. Pleasantly hopped but nowhere near an American IPA, not even close!

Cask at GBBF 2009. Copper/amber, bubbly head. Good toffeeish IPA, yes not in your face, like some US IPAs, but good hop flavour, bitterness and general mouth enlivening. Solid, decent. Nice nettle on finish. Good English IPA.

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, pine needles and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, pine needles and a generous bitterness in the finish. Solid malt foundation gives it a good balance. Slightly above medium body, fairly sweet. Very nice and hoppy beer.

Cask@GBBF2009. Copper colour, not much head. Aroma is wood, mild dry fruits as well as some earthyness and mild notes of pine. Flavour is much the same along with some citrusfruityness coming in quite strong.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Clear amber color, small white head. Sweaty, American hoppy nose. Resiny-citrusy hoppy flavor, some caramel sweetness too. Hoppy-sweetish flavor.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, 17-07-09 Pours hazy gold with white head. This beer has a nice thrusting bitterness, its dry at the end and superbly hoppy. I like this and in particular those little stalacmite spikes of hoppiness that drop from the roof of the mouth. A6 A3 F8 P4 Ov14 3.5
