Amber body. Aroma of sour grass. Malt-fruity flavour and dusty hops. Straightforward bitter tail. Somewhat tame and flat in the mouth. Not up to par for a English bitter (cask, sample at GBBF, 06.08.2009).

(Cask at GBBF, London Earlโs Court, 5 Aug 2009) Tawny colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, citrus and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, solid grainy malt and dusty, citrussy hops in the finish. Light body, balanced sweetness. A decent bitter.

Cask@GBBF. Deep amber color, decent off-white head. Woody hoppy aroma. Light palate. Light woody hoppyness, some caramel. Very standard, probably ok with food.

Cask conditioned at The Cross Keys, Belper, 17-01-08 Poured amber in colour with great clarity and a tiny rim of bubbles for the head, it looked great. A slightly sulphourous nose leads to a wonderful fruit and toffee combination in the mouth, a very good beer.
