(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Dark brown colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with dark fruit and dusty hops. Slightly roasty. Malty, nutty taste with notes of toast, dried fruit, cold coffee and dusty hops in the finish. Rather light body, smooth and rounded mouthfeel. Balanced sweetness. Nice, easy drinking, traditional bitter with a nutty malt character.
