Many Mexican beer styles today are descendants of old Austrian styles, from when Austria ruled Mexico in the late 19th century. Our Dos Perros is made with German Munich malt, English Pale malt, and Chocolate malt, and hopped with Perle and Saaz hops. To lighten the body, as many Mexican brewers do, we add a small portion of flaked maize. The result is a wonderfully bready malt aroma, balanced with some maize sweetness and a noble hop finish.

Romans are dark malt, roast and a bit of toffee. Flavors are similar to nose and slightly more sweet than bitter or carbonation. Not bad but not great. Definitely drinkable.

Bottle. This beer is horrible. Taste like malt liquor to me. Very heavy on corn aroma and taste.

$2 single from Appalachian. Stamped 5/28/24. Honey breakfast cereal nose. Pint glass at home. Kinda thin, mostly clear, amber-maple, weak head. Taste is obvious chocolate malt. Gentle, itchy roast. Acidy. Corny Modelo finish. Thin, strong carb, high tolerance. Not very complex but hits the spot.

Can from Filling Station: pours clear brown with beige head. Aroma is caramel and toasty. Hints of chocolate. Taste is sweetish with a hint of smoke.

12oz can. Really nice Brown Ale. Solid malt depth, pleasant hop balance. Drinkable, but with lots of flavor. Kind of a blast from the past. Great malt tone reminds me of English Dark Ales. Good stuff.

12 oz. bottle from Kroger in Brentwood, TN. Pours a crystal clear dark ruby red color with a small beige head and poor retention. No lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Clean and smooth lightly sweet caramel malt flavor with no bitterness. Decent carbonation. Short finish. A nice, flavorful, easy drinking beer. Tastes like a Dunkel mixed with a Bock.

Just got done a nice hike from Radnor Lake. Refreshing. Like a classy Negra Modelo.
