Bottle. Cloudy, gold color. Aroma and taste is a nice wheat ale smell and taste. Like the description says it’s zesty and lemony.

Bottle 12 oz: Hazy gold coloured brew with an fresh, fruity and sweet start. An good fine bittersweet aftertaste. If there will be once an summerbeer this must be the standard.

I got this bottle in a trade with jwc215. Thanks Joe!

This pours a clear gold with a 2 finger head of foam and some lacing. Great head retention.

The smell is very nice. A good presence of lemony citrus hops and about an equal amount of malt hits my nosebuds. If the taste is anything like the smell, this could be good...

The taste follows the nose alright. A very tasty lemon hoppy flavour balanced by an ample malty sweetness and some wheat notes. Man, I could drink a lot of this one. It's so tasty and so smooth. Very good mouthfeel here and the carbonation is actually on the light side and that works perfectly. The finish has a nice lemon bitter subtleness to it. I like!

A great drinking experience and a real authentic session brew. I'm so pleased I got to try this; I don't think I've had a better example of style. Southern Tier has done it again!

Draught @ Albion. Clear goldwn yellow with almost no head, faint doughy aroma, low carbonation, slight honey taste, abrupt finish. Quite a bland brew.

This wheat poured a light amber colour with next to no head at all. no lacing. Scents include apple juice, dough and hay. First swig was slightly watery with flavours of bread and very light hops. Very thin mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with light head. Aromas of lemon wax, soap, and white pepper. Light watery floral flavor with some additional wheat/grain, and citrus notes. Not very inspiring.

Summery American wheat ale with light yellowish, sticky head and pale ’old gold’ colour with calm sparkling. Very flowery aroma, like a meadow in early summer, with hints of green apple, white grape, peach, banana, lots of artisanal honey, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, grass. Mineral-like taste, pretty strong carbo, unripe fruits, mild citrussy freshness, apple, soap, pale malts, quickly overwhelmed by an ’American’ hop bitterness, peppery, grassy and long; rather thin body, even somewhat watery, and alcohol noticeable - which I find unacceptable in a beer of only 5,1% ABV. Otherwise an interesting tasting, though.
