From notes/backlog: tap @ Beer Temple. Golden blonde color, slightly hazy. White head. Aroma’s of piney hops. Citrus, a bit resin and some malty sweetness retronasal. Flavor is lightly sweet, grainy/malty. Light bodied. Light bitter finish. Nice Summer-beer, but could use a bit more of a hop-bite.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/20/2013. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of lemon, orange zest, floral, pine, grass, wheat, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt and hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange zest, grapefruit, floral, grass, light honey, wheat, bread, light pine, and floral earthiness. Slight floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, light honey, wheat, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance of hop and malt flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale wheat ale. Nice balance of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle at home (BOE) - 29/09/12. Clear light golden with a very thin white head that soon dissipates to the edge of the glass. Floral hops and a perfumed aroma with a little wheat and a touch of spice in the background. Taste wise a little on the bland side, not unpleasant, just not a lot going! Wheat, a little citrus, light hop tones, hints of summer fruit. Medium bodied with the carbonation level pitched well. A refreshing wheat beer if a little on the boring side.

33cl bottle from Bottle Shop Canterbury. Clear gold colour with thick white head. Soapy wheaty aroma with some hop. Ok in mouth, I mean very light as you would expect. This is a thirst quencher rather than a sit down open fire sipper. As such it’s absolutely fine. Not too soapy and as a golden ale it’s fine. Rather good finish to be honest. Better than average.

355 ml bottle bought @ Ølbutikken. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet and tiny fruity with crackers, lemon zest, hay, dry soil, rubber, wheat flour, allspice and hints of dry wood and damp basement. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter and tiny sour with crackers, lemon juice, white bread, rubber, lemon zest, hay, dry soil and hints of grape zest and silage. Mouthfeel is soft, watery, slightly dry and light bodied. Finish is bitter and tiny sour with crackers, lemon zest, grape zest, dry soil and hay. Meh...

Clear bright gold beer. Residual white head. Crisp palate. A little creamy malt, light fresh orange hops. Finishes crisp. A really refreshing beer, could drink loads on a sunny day - which I guess is the idea!
