Bottle from Wine Warehouse on 04/26/2009. Very clear golden body wtih a medium frothy white head. Wheat, spice, pale malt and a slight vegetable (brussel sprouts) aroma. Sweet spicy flavor, some wheat and pale malt, and an earthy malt character. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

First of all, I like the gimmick packaging on this, even though I usually get pissed off at gimmick packaging, especially since stuff like this usually contains crappy beer - I’m surprised by this, and I find it weird that the overall score is so low - pours lightly hazy, with a soapy lace - aroma of wheat and cereal grains, herbal hops, and zesty citrus - medium bodied, moderate carbonation - generously hopped for a wheat ale - lightly peppery hops up front, followed by some wheat and yeasty character - a light honey sweetness follows behind this - some minty hops return in the finish - on the tail end, there is a slight corn adjunct character, which is this beer’s biggest flaw - however, overall, this is a flavorful and refreshing wheat ale.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a golden yellow color with a very, very slight haze. Medium head with decent retention. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is strong wheat with nutty notes, a bit of hops and corn. Taste is a grainy, nutty maltiness, bread, corn and a fruity hop finish. Medium bodied. Earth Day can taste much better than this.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. This must have just come out... Pours with no head over a clear golden body. Aroma of wheat and light hops (mostly citrus). Taste is wheaty with citrus and cereal. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel. Not that good for Southern Tier.
