2007 bottle. Time to pop another beer that may have been cellared too long(?). A bright nose of alcohol under the cap. Pours a solid black with a thick then fizzy tan head. Smoothy malty and alcoholic nose in the glass, but not very noticeable. Maybe a slight coconut fringe in the smell, but mostly in my imagination. Taste is, oh, let's say black patent roast malt that has smoothed out all its usual harsh bitterness. No, the roasty malt is still there, and yes, there's a bit of oxidation. Yes, I'm saying it's both rough and smooth. I probably don't get to many aged stouts that haven't sat on wood or been aged on coffee or the like. But this turns out just as expected.

Plums, raisins and big bready malt. Boozy, hit finish. Imperial brown-like. I feel like this would age nicely.

Bomber from the cellar. Black pour, no head. Roast malt, coffee and abit of licorice in the aroma. Lightly sweet and roasty, some light soy. Medium body.

I got this bottle in a trade with joe1510. Thanks Joe!
It pours a pitch black with about an inch of tan foam. Lots of lacing here but the foam disappears quickly.
The smell has a sweetish nose to it with caramel malt and roasted malt. I also get lighter notes of chocolate, maybe some dark fruit, and some coffee. Good nose.
The taste is sweet as well with lots of chocolate, some caramel, some bittering from roasted malt and light coffee, a bit of toffee, and a bit of alcohol (which I think almost tastes oakey). Just a bit, mind you, but it's there and I get a quite a bit of warming during and after the swallow.
When I poured it, it looked to be thickish and I think it *is* full bodied, which I like. The carbonation is on the light side and it finishes with some dark chocolate and coffee bitterness. I just wish the alcohol was better concealed because this is very tasty but it'll be kind of a chore to finish the bottle. Yeah, it's the middle of summer and I probably should have waited until old man winter returned with the colder temps but I couldn't and I didn't. ;^) No doubt about it though...I recommend it!

Almost black, some beige bubbles. Aroma having some roast and bit of barrel character although it’s not barrel aged. Taste has deep roasty sweetness and more dark dried plums. Bit of alcohol there, like aged in wine barrels although it’s not. Bit edgy bitter finish.

Bottle sample at a Yom Kippur eve tasting at Max’s place. Thanks kerenmk. 2016 bottle. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, chococlate, coffee, a bit of cherries and more fruits. Great sweet flavor, rich, with roast, chocolate, a bit of coffee, some dark fruits, light alcoholic note, and a bitterish note. Full-bodied, rounded. Really good.

Purchased at Siciliano's Market in Grand Rapids, MI; enjoyed at home after a long long run and lots of driving to the suburbs. Appearance is pitch black, moderate thickness. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla, smells nice. Taste is very good, light burn from ABV, strong chocolate notes, finishes dry, very good stuff.
