Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of goryshkewych. Clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma - a little oxidized perhaps. Medium body, sweetish malty and again perhaps a little oxidized with overripe fruit. Carbonation is a little low. Sweet malty finish, no real bitterness. A little over the top but still a decent drink. 220909

Golden-amber colour, but slightly dull. Not much head. The aroma is pale malts and light spice. Light spice and vague malt on the palate. Light caramel. Not finding the promised pandemonium; this is pretty bland.

Amberish gold with a medium creamy head. Aroma is slightly sulfuric but mostly a heavy breadiness with a touch of alcohol. Thereโ€™s perhaps some toffee in that. Flavor is strongly bready toffee malts, almost cloying, with a thickish, vaguely tannic/grainy wring to the cheeks. Tangy. Creamy palate, clean fermentation (having said that, there might be just a hint of DMS) and hidden alcohol distinguish this from malt liquor.

22oz bomber. Glowing orange-tan color. Sweet, complex, malty beer. Alcohol is apparent but slightly veiled through the smooth yeasty richness. I really like this beer, but was more impressed the first time I had it, when I assumed the alcohol content was a tad higher. A really nice Heller Bock, definitely worth a try.

Bottle. Pour is an orangish gold with lots of bubbles rising to the surface and a little bit of haze to it. Head is fairly minimal. Aromas are reminiscent of Oktoberfest... heavy malt, sweet, honey and bread. Flavor is more of the same, but a bit of a fruity presence comes in and the alcohol is fairly detectable. Nice.

22 oz bottle. Pours a golden color with a medium-small white head. Aroma is sweet. Flavor is standard lager-like, with notes of citrus and spice. Itโ€™s carbonated, but not in the bad way. Good with a meal but thatโ€™s about it.

Pale golden beer with a frothy, sticky lace - aroma of honey, lavender and other soft, flowery, scented soap kind of smells - pretty weak in the flavor department - mediu sweet, with a balancing tart character - some grainy flavor and very light floral notes, but beyond that there really isnโ€™t anything going on here - boring.

Poured a slightly murky deep yellow with a thin, quick fading head. Aroma is very malty, slightly yeasty with hints of sweet fruit, mostly banana. Flavor is almost all german malt with only hints of anything else, hay and grass if you search. Finish is watery, no heat or alcohol. This beer was drinkable, not even close to a drain pour, but not unlike alot of beers you get from the big brewing macros.

22oz bottle pours out a nice clear gold topped with a small white head. A little sweetness on it along with a touch of malt but not much elese going on thanks BuckDich

Bottle: Clear golden pour with a medium white head. Notes of malt, yeast, and a mild fruitiness are detectable. The taste is sweet and malty, a bit grassey and dull. Thanks BuckDich for sharing.
