Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and ginger. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, prunes, malt, caramel, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish where the over ripe fruits lingers. Thanks Steve.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and a little caramel. Rich malty body, caramel, no real feel of all the spices or the honey, but actually very Bock-like. Some alcohol and hops in the finish. Actually not a bad Bock. 130909

(11/19/08) Bottle at friends’ house in Philadelphia. Thanks Mike aspidites! Slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, some fruits and some spiciness. A pretty bitter hoppy flavor, a bit spicy, with some grapefruit, caramel and honey notes and a bit of alcohol. A lot more hops than spices here.
