Great Divide's mantra is that real fruit makes real beer, so Great Divide ferments Wild Raspberry Ale with hundreds of pounds of real red and black raspberries. Wild Raspberry Ale is a truly effervescent, ruby red ale that achieves the almost impossible balance between malted barley and tart raspberry fruitiness. Its naturally tart character makes Wild Raspberry the ultimate accompaniment to spicy Mexican food or on its own as a stand-alone session beer.

Dark red murky pour, with an off white head. Aroma of sour raspberries, and sme sweet jam. Flavor is more of the same with a light refreshing tartness. Body is nice, and the carbonation is spot on. Refreshing and well made.

Tap at Beertemple, Amsterdam: Pink coloured brew with an watery start, and later the sweet raspberry taste will emerge.

Draft. A- Raspberry, toast. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Raspberry, toasty, faint tartness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Not that sour, or maybe wild ale traits. Really kind of a simple fruit beer. Not bad not great, underwhelming I'd say.

Canned August 3rd 2022..oops.

It pours a clearish amber with a finger of foam, lacing is very good.

It smells of raspberries, wheat, some sweet notes, some tart notes.

The taste is semi sweet raspberries, wheat, mild tartness. Pretty simple to my palate.

Medium bodied, good carbonation.

I wish that I had this fresher. I am a fan of raspberry beers.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 25 Oct 2022) Hazy amber colour with creamy, tan head. Fruity nose with notes of raspberries, citrus, orange and toast. Fruity, slightly tart taste with raspberries, red fruit, caramel, blood orange and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Not very complex, but tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

From old tasting notes. Deep reddish purple color. Light pink head. Sweet raspberry malt nose. Zesty, sweet raspberry fruit flavor has a chewy, thick mouthfeel. Lots of raspberry flavor. Interesting.

Bottle from barley wine cph. Clear raspberry scent, but less in the taste than expected. But that is probably to it´s advantage a the maltstructure is pretty regular for a pale ale and not a lambic one. Really drinkable.
