Great Divide's mantra is that real fruit makes real beer, so Great Divide ferments Wild Raspberry Ale with hundreds of pounds of real red and black raspberries. Wild Raspberry Ale is a truly effervescent, ruby red ale that achieves the almost impossible balance between malted barley and tart raspberry fruitiness. Its naturally tart character makes Wild Raspberry the ultimate accompaniment to spicy Mexican food or on its own as a stand-alone session beer.

Slightly pink red ale with a thick overflowing light pink head. A rather dry raspberry aroma very tart and natural. In mouth, the tartness of the fruit is very nice, with light malt and honey. Reminds me of the old St-Ambroise Framboise. A summer quaffer. Bieropholie importation.

Huge carbonation. Clear amber to pink color with tan head. Raspberry aroma and just a touch of malt. This beer explodes in my mouth yet has a weak flavor of sour and slightly sweet berry, some malt and maybe a hint of hop bitterness. Not much of a beer.

Very small light pinkish head over hazy light purple body. Sweet, dense natural raspberry and rhubarb aroma with some acidity. Strong raspberry metal taste with some malts and lingering bittersweetness. Somewhat watery. Lingering stale watery bitter metal raspberry taste that’s really disagreeable. Aroma is really nice, taste not bad, and lingering aftertaste unpleasant. (0.355l bottle.)

bottle - Pours dark red with a moderate head that fades within a couple minutes. The aroma is mostly of raspberries with some malt. The taste matches the aroma. It’s not subtle or complex, but for what it is, it’s fairly good.

Red-amber color. Simple aroma, very light fruits. Nothing to tell about the taste; quite bitter. There’s no point here.

Actually pretty good. Dark red color, with a thick head before it lessens. Raspberry flavor, deffinately. Very decent.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a reddish brown with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Marked, sweetish raspberry aroma. Rather light, fresh and dry body with the raspberries leaving a very pleasant impression. 250206

pours a nice light red color with a sort of very light pink head. The head fades very slow. A little tast of raspberrie pretty good.
