Jouluolut on osa panimon juhlaolutsarjaa. Jouluoluessa tunnet samettisen juhlaillan. Keittovaiheessa lisätyt mausteet tuovat perinteisiä joulumaksuja estradille. Vuoroin pilkahtelevat suklaa, kardemumma, neilikka ja kaneli. Maku on varsin pysyvä ja tukeva. Olut tulee juoda nautiskellen lasista. Sopiva tarjoilulämpötila on noin 10 astetta. Jouluolut maistuu erinomaiselta suklaisten jouluherkkujen kanssa.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Brown sugar, spices and soft vinous notes in the aroma and flavor. Very low on carbon. Sweetish. Spices dominate in the finish.

KØLF 070417. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is smoked, roasted malt, spices. Flavor is smoked, roasted malt, spices, caramel. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle. Black body with a nice, dense, lacing, beige head. Aroma is mild, smoked, dark malt. Flavor is smooth, light roasted malt with smoke and a hint of forest. Medium body and average aftertaste. OK

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.3%. EBU 50. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Thin beige head. Fairly nice dryish aroma of roast malts, hints of wood and liquorice, a whiff of smoke. Dry flavour, well balanced roast malts, some coffee, light bodied as expected, but refreshing. Again hints of wood and smoke, also mild spices. Tasty for its low ABV.

Flaske fra Kilpis Finnland via DjOeye. Aroma svak duft av kanel, malt. Utseende mørk brun med beige skum som daler fort. Smak kaffe, syrlig frukt, malt, noe tørr i ettersmaken

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). More or less black colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is mildly spicy, toasted and some slight chocolaty notes. Flavour is chocolate, some cinnamon, mild clove as well as some slight toasted notes. Smooth and pleasant, Nice chocolaty/roasted and coffeeish aftertaste. Palate is a bit on the watery side though.

Bottle (shared by helen, thanks). Pours dark brown with brown with beige head. Aroma is fruits, dirty socks, roast, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, berries, some dirtiness. Body is watery. Overall: not good.

Fra flaske på DSJT, Cardinal nov-16: brunsvart med ok skum. En slank juleøl med kort bitterhet i ettersmaken. Noe av julens krydderpotpurri pluss snev av kreosot.
