Bottle. Poured black with a thick brown head. Aroma was full of malts with a slight hint of a milk chocolate. Flavor was full of dark notes that were a bit overwhelming at times but they did relent to a light chocolate finish.

Bottle, shared by Papsoe. It’s a dark reddish brown beer topped by a creamy beige head. Sweetish nose with coffee and hints of butterscotch in a pleasant way. Sweetish flavor with coffee and roasted malts. Even though the beer seems sweet, it’s quite dry in the mouth, and full-bodied. Bitter and roasted finish. A really pleasant porter. 090821

Bottle. Sweet roasted aroma, hint of paper. Clear very dark brown colour. The flavour starts off roasted, turning smoky and ending slightly sweet. Well-balanced. Creamy finish. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but not bad at all.
