Bottle 500ml (Alko)
Deep ruby color, tiny off-white head. Strong artifical chocolate aroma, even perfumic. Medium-bodied. Sweet, artifical chocolate in the flavor. Low bitterness, some coffee notes. This is quite typical showcase how chocolate beer can be annoying.

50cl bottle. Dark brown, near black, thick brown head. Chocolate mousse, sweet coffee notes. Flavor has similar things. Artificial feel to it. Chocolate covers pretty much everything else. Drinkable in small doses.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 12.09.2015
Aroma has semi-dark chocolate, chocolate essence and vanilla. Also distant metallic tones. Flavour has artifical chocolate, floury cocoa tones and woody notes. Somewhat metallic finish. Artifical essences all the way but at some level I seem to enjoy this anyway.

Draught@HBF2015. Pretty much pitch black colour with a foamy brigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some chocolate, strange sweetness as well as mild syrupy and plummy notes. Flavour is quite syrupy and plummy, with some toasted notes as well as some strange chocolaty notes. Not sure how the chocolate notes are achieved here, but something screams artificial notes, which gives the beer a strange twist.

Draught @ HBF 2015
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of artificial sweetness, syrup, hints of roastiness and dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, artificial sweetish and syrupy with notes of chocolate and toffee. Finish is sweet, syrupy and malty with notes of toffee and chocolate. Quite unbalanced.

Almost black, a head is medium and beige. Sizzling in the glass. Aroma has strong milk chocolate, bready maltyness. Taste has chocolate that’s slightly unnaturally, some bread. Only medium bodied, medium carbonation, slightly light palate. Too unnatural.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - 11-9-2015, from Alko, 20150402) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, caramel, sweetness and roasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, sweetness, molasses, burnt malts, more sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sugary sweet. An excessively sweet brew. Poor drinkability.

Tap at Rotterdam, Helsinki. Colour is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Massive chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts. I like chocolate in this one very much.
