Pours reddish-copper with a thin, creamy beige head. Subtle smells of caramel, honey, citrus and grassy floral hops entice while the taste delivers a pleasantly bold hop flavor against a very strong malt backbone. Well-balanced and delicious.

Bottle Pours a redish copper with a nice dense off-white head. Aroma is a nice blend of hops and malts, a bit of citrus and slightly woody. Flavor is a fairly strong, bitter hoppy bite. This is balanced with some carmel, malt and dark roasted grain and a neglegible alcohol taste even at 6+% Feel is nice and rich. Quite smooth actually. Lingering hops and slight wood or cardboard aftertaste.

Cloudy amber appearance. The aroma is piney, lightly fruity. Fairly chunky bitterness (go Chinook!). This is balanced by sweet and toasty malts. Plays the American ESB theme straight down the line.
