12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Oak Creek. Clear golden, large white head, good retention. Aroma of floral and piney hops, toasted malt. Taste is juicy citrus, floral hops, pale malt, and a bit of toast. Medium bodied, a bit juicy. Nice.

From Oct 2005
Poured a clear gold with a very good head that persisted.
The smell was at first, all hops but then I noticed some malt there as well
The taste is a nice balance of malt and hops with a grapefruity note. A lot of flavour for an APA and that's a good thing because I know I'll buy this one again.

355ml can into pint glass. Pours a golden bronze with an enormous white head. Medium carbonation with tiny bubbles. Nose has cardboard, pepper, wood shavings, doughnuts, dark fruit, dark chocolate. There’s a lot going on. Quite light in texture with a cleansing taste. Finish is subtly bitter with a herbal/mint edge to it. Nice understated APA, easy drinking.

(Can) Clear amber with small off-white head. Nice aroma - lemon, grapefruit and pine. Medium body, slightly sticky, with frothy carbonation. At the start the taste matches the aroma - citrus and pine, with some sweetness, although not particularly malty. Some hop bitterness develops at the end. Pleasant easy drinking but somehow not quite balanced.

From a can it is a clear golden color with a slight head. The aroma is lemon and the taste is a thin citrus that finishes bitter lemon

12 oz can poured. Had this a few times over the years, never knew I hadn’t rated it. Pours a clear golden color with a lasting head. Love the can by the way. Chained up on all 4. Might be entering another can phase. I love those. Here we have a nice, easy drinking, tasty pale to enjoy regularly after a long day at work. So refreshing. Mild grainy, malt aroma. Flavor matches with an obvious hop presence, that sticks around late into the palate. Gotta love a pale that won a gold medal when I was in early grade school, and it’s still going strong today. I like this stuff.

Run of the mill APA, very faint hoppy aroma, taste is initial hops, then nothing. Body borders on watery. Might be a good gateway beer for a lager drinker.
