Our original award-winning Saranac beer is brewed in the German Lager tradition using Noble hops. We balance the hop bitterness with caramel malt sweetness, creating what we like to call a “round” beer.

12 fl oz bottle as Saranac Adirondack Lager. Pours hazy orange with a two finger thick and white head. Aroma is malty, caramelish and slight breadish. Light herbal hoppy note. Vague metallic flavoured. A bit flat on the malt flavours, herbal to grassy hops going towards a dry and bitter finish. Ends medium dry.

Bottle as Adirondack Lager. Hazy golden/orange colour. Very big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is mildly malty with a slightly grainy, but OK flavour.

Pours a "you guessed it" amber. Bottle part of a 6-pack variety with six different beers which is nice for a rater. Tastes ot toast and some caramel and malt, nothing to over powering but not a bad bottle of beer.

12oz bottle. Amber in colour with a trace of white head; sweet cereal aroma, lacking the expected German hops; corn syrup flavour too start, but developing some caramel sweetness; the finish is quite mellow and not as I’d expect from Cascade or Hallertauer. Disappointing.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a medium amber with malt aroma very little head and some lacing. Take is malt (mostly bready caramel) and some nice bitter hops. Lightly carbonated. Not sure if this is should be considered a vienna, although ratebeer doesn’t have an american amber lager style to select.

This lager poured a nice dark orange colour with a big, bright white, foamy head. A little lacing. To the nose, scents of hopps, citrus, grass and honey. First taste was a little thin but flavourful with a sharp hopp attack on the palate then slide to a nice refreshing finish. Flavours of hopps, honey and flowers were most prodominant. Finish was slightly bitter with the hopps lingering...
