On tap at the source. Pours a clear solid light amber color with a thinnish off white head that dissipates slowly. Smells of citrus and earthy hops with a smattering of bready, dare I say, biscuit-y malt. Light hints of caramel in there as well. Smells great for a pale ale. Taste follows the smell really well, bready biscuit and a hint of caramel backed up with enough citrus and earth to keep me interested. Medium to thin body, medium level of carbonation, slick smooth almost resinous mouthfeel. I’d never tried this before on many a trip to Martha’s and I’m really glad I did. This is a smooth, clean, well balanced easy to drink pale ale.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice floral hops, with mineral notes. In mouth, a decent pale ale with more grapefruits, British hops, herbal and chlaky. Quite nice. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 27 2009.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Unclear hazy medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]

on tap-pours a rich off white head that laces and cloudy yellow/gold color. Aroma is medium malt-bready, earthy hops. Taste is medium malt-bready, herbal/earthy hops (English?) with a slight tart/sourness.
