Brewed with imported English malts, this medium-bodied, copper-colored beer is a rendition of the popular English Bitter. Best Bitter is a true “session” beer that features a smooth toasty, biscuit-like malt character and finishes with a clean, spicy hop note.

Solid. Had some on draft at the Pony Bar in NYC. Pours a yellow-gold with a small receding head. Aroma has a tinge of hops. Flavor is straw and bitter hops. Nice and crisp. (6 October 2009, Score: 3.5)
Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Simple beer, some pale bread, flowers, grass, lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish with some dry and doughy pale malts, decent grass and hay bitterness. OK stuff.

Draught at Hop Leaf, Chicago
Golden color. A cheesy touch in the aroma covers the hops. Medium body, some stale caramel flavor. Wrong.
