Backlog March 2008. Bottle. Dark reddish brown body under a dense beige head. Aroma has malt, soil and bark. Taste is sweet, strong malt, some dry fruit, bitterness and warming alcohol. Medium body with a malty backbone. Drinkable but not the best dunkel bock I have tasted.

Bottle. Brown, beige head. Caramel aroma- not a lot of real malty things. But upon a taste there’s some bread and hints of chocolate and nuts. Modest, slightly spiced bitterness. Not boozy but doesn’t really offer much for its strength.

0.5 l bottle from a local store in Siemensdamm, Berlin. Clear brown, small tan head. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, light toast, some dried fruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, nutty, bready and lightly caramely and dried fruit flavour. Sweet, but not too sweet. Minimal bitterness. Some warmth. Light finish.
