Brown with a foamy to frothy head. Yeasty and nutty aroma with hints of old shoe. Sweet to mildly sour taste, a bit of banana and chocolate with very mild spice. Not a whole lot going on—the texture is slightly watery which doesn’t help. Drinkable but not among the better Dunkelweizen.

Bottle from Maruhn. Unclear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, caramel, yeasty and banana. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. 021114

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, würzig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, würzig, Röstmalz.

Bottle: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big and slowly collapsing firm off-white head, dryish wheaty-caramelly nose with an Illusion of freshly ground coffee, supported by a slight acidity in the Background; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied and pretty soft; slightly tart, but mainly fruity-caramelly finish accompanied by a delicate sourish touch. Well quaffable stuff...

Medium brown. Malty wheat aroma with a sweet flavor and medium body. There was nothing wrong with this beer, it was just not very interesting.

Draft: Poured a brown to gold color with an off white head. Aroma was wheat and roasted malt. Taste was more of the same wheat and malts.

Dunkler Hefegeruch. Süßlicher Hefeantrunk, in dem das Malz kaum vervorkommt. Weiterhin leicht süß im Mittelteil, etwas limonenartig. Süffig, leicht hefig-malziger Nachgeschmack. Nicht wirklich toll (zu lasch), aber trinkbar. Test vom 16.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,9,8,8,8 - 8,25
