In the very northern French province of Nord-pas-de-Calias, a special beer was brewed in late winter or early spring. The cooler fermentation and extra strength of the beer helped assure long term storage. This brew was formulated with our friends in Seattle that distribute our beer way up there. Hops are not accentuated making the beer rich, luscious, and malty. Jouir! (Enjoy!)
