Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma with a whiff of caramel. Medium body, sweetish malt with a little sulphur. Finishes dry. 090209

Toasty, yeasty aroma, bit of wet dog and wet cardboard. OK in mouth, some reasonably neutral fruit salad citrus flavours, some lemon and lime flavours towards the finish, not piercing flavours, but they are there. In fact the finish is probably the best thing about this beer. Dortmunder isn’t always my favourite style, but this one has a bit more character than most and that finish really is very good. A lasting striking lemon and lime mix.2.7 re rate tasty gold marzen. Good flavour. Served nice temperature. Good refreshing stronger German beer. Good.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry cornish to malty, slight toasted. Sweet caramelish, slight syrupy. Mild bitterness into a continued sweet finish.

The bottle looks good, also a nice crown cap. Very old-styled, but good. The beer starts washy, but becomes in the end even dry, but not bad. A good and drinkable beer.

(bottle) Hazy golden slightly sparkling body with a thick foamy head. Lightly sweet malty nose. Malty, breadish flavour with a rather sweet slimy aftertaste. It looks better in the glass than it actually is.

Bottle: quite pale golden colour; slight malty and fruity nose; thin white head, quite low carbonated, soft and mild, only shy hops in the finish. Quite fair, nothing more.........

An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of hops as well as hints of apples. The flavor is plain sweet malty.

Malty base, slightly soapy hops. Straw, low carbonation, low head. Balance as it should be in a Helles. Medium body, malt aftertaste.
