An experiment available at the brewpub in March 2008, hoping to see it soon again; cask (?)
Hazy copper color, with a persistent small head. Hoppy aroma, grassy, some manure, deep and delicate, more British than American; it must be one of the hoppiest in Italy, still it has its balance. Good body, with a powerful toffee and caramel flavor, round mouthfeel in the beginning, maybe drier later, when an extreme bitterness kicks in, grassy and with dry and astringent resins. The final is infinite; more satisfying than most Real English Ales. Surprise.
