The daughter of a rustic saison and a juicy pear. Aged for twenty four months in red and white wine casks with a mix of wild yeast and house cultures. Blended and refermented on ripe red D'Anjou pears from our friends at Hungry Harvest for 6 months. Naturally carbonated.

Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2023. Pours a murky gold. Nose has pear and ginger, malt, spice. Flavor has some malt and candy, fruit is there with ginger. Clean finish.

Probably one of the better union beers I've ever had. Pear is well done, very potent on the nose. Some lime, grapefruit. Good sour balance. Golden clear pour with decent head and lacing. A light bit of vinegar. Tart finish, well balanced. Bottle pour at brewery.
