Draught @ Brewpub København, Vestergade 29, 1456 København, Denmark.Unclear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, light to moderate yeasty, peat - chlorine notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, peat and chlorine notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090922]

Small offwhite head. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Fruity smoky burnt buttery aroma with chocolate notes. Stale earthy chocolatey (black nougat) taste with burnt fruity notes. Soft mouthfeel. Dry smoky nougat aftertaste with lingering smoke notes and some perfume. Nice. (0.1l draft at the brewpub.)

On tap at the brewpub. Creamy beige head on top of an almost black, or at least very dark brown, body. Burnt start on the aroma, with a fruityness coming strong, mostly banana-ish. The flavos is fruity as well, with some banana, a little caramel and bitterness, some roasted notes and a touch of citrus. Medium body, maybe a bit thin. Fruity finish with citrus and banana. Nice, quaffable beer that could use a bit more body. (071006)

Draught @ The Brewpub. Pours a murky brown color with a longlasting off-white head. Roasted wheaty malty aroma with some banana hints. Sweet malty slightly roasted flavor with some banana hints. Sweet malty spicy finish with a roasted malty aftertaste.

100ml draught sampled at the BrewPub. Hazy, dark brown body. Filmy, beige layer. Aroma of roasted coffee with hints of dark fruits. More dark fruits in the taste mixed with wheaty sweetness and a yeasty ending. Quite easy to drink (01.08.2007).

Draft. an unclear dark brown beer with a lazing light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of wheat, caramel, and banana. The flavor is sweet malty with just a hint of acidity and notes of banana, wheat, and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The mouthfeel is just a bit sticky.
