Aroma: fruity fresh and roasted coffee. Flavor: roasted coffee and berries and nice bitterness. Color: almost black with a light brown head.

Bottle from Hammelhus (shared with Niller) - black pour with small beige head. Aroma and taste is dark roasted malty, light mocca, chocolate, liquorice, smooth mouthfeel, decent brew.

[Trade by chrisv10] Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted matl. chocolate, coffee and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee. Flavour is coffee, roasted malt, fruit, hop, licorice. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle. A next to black stout topped by a finger thick tan head. Roasted aroma with some licorice. Malty sweetness leaning towards dark sugar. The flavor is sweet and roasted, with some salty licorice and a little caramel touch. Low on hoppy bitterness. Dry on the palate, and a bit thin. Roasted finish. A nice and easy drinkable stout, lacks on complexity and body, but hides the alcohol well. 100331

bottle at cloisters tasting ... thin tan head ... thin roast malt nose ... littl thin ... solid roast ... little chocolate ... little coffee ... ok but just lacking kick
