Avarice being the original name of the deadly sin of greed and Dekkera from the Latin Dekkera Bruxellensis, this beer is all about the wild yeast Brettanomyces. Isolated from a Bougainvillea flower in our brewmasters back yard right here in the 92104, this funk is as native as it gets. Ages well!

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Bottle at the brewery. Hazy reddish/orange with a small white head. The aroma was sour with fruit, funk and light grass. The taste was similar but weaker.
