A traditional & authentic old style Belgium beer, pure malt, hops, without spices or additives. A smooth, slightly amber & cloudy beer. Soft with a invigorating bitterness in the aftertaste, voluptuous, refreshing, with discreet hints of caramel.

Bottle, 8.0%. Rough hop aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Very big stable creamy white head. The flavour is sweetish, perfume, acidic with some green, and perhaps rotten, vegetable. Good alcohol level. Soapy finish.

Bottled 330ml. -at Pot Au Lait Liege. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, yeasty and light alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, light fruity and spicy with notes of alcohol in the finish. Rather average.

On tap at Gist. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Peppery Belgian yeast with some floral notes on the nose. Tastes like a perfumey apple juice. Very disappointing, not even recognizable as a tripel.

On tap at GIST, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has some Belgian yeast, light spiciness, and biscuity malt. Flavour is puzzling, with gentle candi sugar, biscuity malt, and some light esters. I don’t see this as a tripel, just as a generic, confused Belgian beer of some sort.

This beer has a really nice color:orange and a lot of small pieces of yeast giving a nice touch. The taste is well balanced, easy to drink. 10.11.2016.
