Bottle. Pours clear deep golden liquid. Huge frothy head. Excellent retention. Aroma: overripe fruit, esters, yeast, earthy hops. Medium body. Medium sweet taste. Malty, fruity. The point is notable finishing spicy/earthy hop. Warming alcohol present. Quite solid.

500ml bottle kindly provided by Finn for a rating session with djoeye, special guest Gunnar, me and Finn. Warm golden body, filmy layer, decent lacing. Oily hops and brown malty aromas. Spiced caramel flavours, joined by some impact of yeast and dried fruits. Mid-sweet fruity ending with warmth from the alcohol. True to the style, more or less. Pleasing. (Tromsø 08.06.2017).

Flaske 500ml fra dagligvarebutikk i Brussel. Delt med djoeye, Gunnar og Rune på Nerstranda 8 Jun 17. Gyldenbrun. Høyt kritthvitt skum. Litt lacing. God krydderaroma. Smaken søtt krydder. Lett alkoholisk ettersmak.

Oranjegeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet, fruitig en krachtig met iets van zoet fruit, vanille, honing en stroop.

Bottled. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is honey, zest, some mild spices as well as some yeast and mild alcohol. Flavour is sweet fruits, some zest, mild yeasty and spiced notes along with a mellow bit of alcohol.

slightly opalescent golden colour, moderate sized, creamy head; aroma of grains, apple, maybe peach, too, some caramel and wine cellar-like notes; taste of grains, some fruitiness, yeasty and slight sourish notes; dry aftertaste; not among the best tripels, but still good to drink

Das Bier kommt aus der (lt. Etikett) im Jahre 1343 gegründeten Brasserie à la Ferme, also Bauernhof-Brauerei. Auch wenn es relativ alkoholreich ist, gibt es geschmacklich nicht so viel her wie vergleichbare Biere. Ein typisches Bier à la kann man gern versuchen; muss man aber nicht.

Bertinchamps tripel is a clear light gold with a filmy white head. It has A big bready honey orange aroma and a fruity flavor with some boozy burn in the finish, nice stuff.
